whats free boot?
It's like a dev-kit but retail basiclly using the old dashboard.

Don't even say a free-boot 360 is anything like a Dev Kit. Developers Kits can do so much more. A free-boot 360 just means it will run anything anyway you want.

It makes the game able to be modded in almost any way. You can .map mod meaning that you can mod any of the maps in the game by skinning them, changing what weapons shoot, where you can go on the map, etc.

This can't be used in matchmaking or in custom games with friends on other consoles though. If you want to play with friends, then you need to do it on the same console or through system link and they must also be on a JTAG'd Xbox.
