[Tut] How to Mod Fable 3 + Editor
« on: January 06, 2011, 12:28:44 PM »
I noticed a tut for this hasnt been posted so just posting here.

Sven's Fable 3 Save Editor
(click to show/hide)
Along with
Le Fluffie
And Modio

Now down to the actual Tutorial
I have seen many variations on this but had resulted in my save being smaller than what I had started off with. But then I came across this which had worked for me first time.

This should stop corruption after saving and reloading

1. Make a copy of your save and put it in a folder called (Game save copy) an one on desktop.
2. Extract all the contents of the herosave file with Modio. (Desktop save)
3. Put them all into one folder(name it what you want), Separate from actual save ie. HeroXXX.
4. Open the herosave.bin file in the tool.
5. Mod the save how you want then save.
6. Delete the save that you extracted the contents from keep all the bin files.
7. Go to the folder where you have your copy of the save(Game save copy)  and right click it and copy.(DONT MOVE! JUST COPY FOR SAFETY)
8. Paste it on your desktop and open it with Le Fluffie.
9. Replace the herosave.bin and checksumsave.bin in Le Fluffie.
10. Now go to security tab and push fix.
11. Place back into HHD or USB

I wrote out tut but Information and Program is from those which I have given credit.
Hope this helps.
=)
