Halo Ban Bypass
« on: October 24, 2009, 09:27:11 AM »
Okay so I got matchmaking banned for host booting last night so I've got two weeks to figure out how to bypass it. It says the console is banned so I recovered a friends tag and I got the same message except it said for one week? Is this a glitch or is the console banned for 1 week and the account 2 weeks? If that is the case, I will not swap my XBox.

My guess is that your account that you were host booting on is banned for 2 weeks and your console for 1 week. So when you sign on the account that you host booted with you will get two messages, one saying your account has been banned for 2 weeks and one saying your console has been banned for a week. When you sign on any other account you should only get one message saying your console was banned for a week.

Either way there is no way to bypass it. Get a new Xbox or wait it out.

Actually, my Xbox and account were banned from Matchmacking for a week and then they were both banned from earning Exp for another week after that.
