[TUT/H3] Modding usermaps.
« on: October 18, 2009, 12:32:40 PM »
MADE BY NicksMods - MyXboxSaves.com

First off, what we will need:
A way to connect to your hdd:
Microsoft Transfer Kit
(or xsata or xport)
What we will be using to mod:
Forge 2.3

Xport360(the program used to get stuff off and on to your 360)

And .::CONcept::. 0.1(nxe resigner)

Now to get started.
Assuming you have the means to get stuff off and on your 360 hdd via computer

1. Turn on your 360 and put in halo 3 and creat a forge map that your going to mod, or if you have one in mind remember the date you made it (says it when your selecting a map in halo 3)

2. once you have that all figured out turn off your 360 and unplug your 360 hdd.

3. Plug it into your comp via xsata or something and open XPort360 and follow these pictures very carefully

The large area i circled are user profiles.

4. Now open Forge 2.3 and open the usermap you drug to your desktop or w/e

And mod it the way you want to, but if you want to add clones (MC or Elite) make sure you know what you want to turn into clones like for instance i wanted to turn the frag grenades into MC then i would go to the "eqip" tag and then click "objects\weapons\grenade\frag_grenade\frag_grenade" and after i click that

5. change what i have circled to this:

and hit "save"
6. Now when your done doing the changes you want click "tools" then click "resign all" when thats done close forge 2.3 and open CONcept

7. click what i have circled and open the usermap you just modded

8. then hit "resign" (bottom left) then close CONcept

Now we are almost done :D

9. Go to the area on your 360 hdd where you got the usermap and drag and drop the usermap from your desktop to that area you got the user map.

Now your done. Unplug the 360 hdd from your comp and plug it back in to your 360; start up halo 3 pick the map you modded and enjoy.

This is all it is. Get your gamesave for your map. Open it in Forge. Goto whatever you want and change it to anything you want. Save, Rehash - Resign.

Read the rules.
