I will keep this thread up to date, with errors.
Fix Error (6)
(click to show/hide)
There may be third-party software installed that modifies your default packet size in Windows by inserting a TcpWindowSize entry into your Registry. If your default packet size is set incorrectly it can cause this error. Contact the manufacturer of the software that installed the packet size modification for assistance.
Look Here for all the resolutions and cases:

This error can occur if the device is manually disconnected during the restore process. This issue can be resolved by performing USB isolation troubleshooting, using a different USB dock connector cable, trying another USB port, restoring on another computer, or by eliminating conflicts from third-party security software.

Things You Can Try:
-Perform USB isolation troubleshooting, including a different USB port directly on the computer.
-Put a USB 2.0 hub between the device and the computer.
-Eliminate third-party security software conflicts by following iTunes for Windows
-Try to restore from another known-good computer and network.
-Sometimes The update package is a .ipsw (IPod or IPhone SoftWare). This file is actually just a .zip renamed .ipsw.Use a program like "Object Fix" (Freeware) to verify the integrity of the file prior to commencing with any new updates. You will have to keep trying to download it until you get a error free file. Once you have a CRC error free file this problem will go away.
