it is definitely possible that someone will find a way to burn the increased file size, as an anti pirating method its a pretty smart idea from microsoft because the writing involves a virtual forced validation of the data, pushing it to the very edge of the disc. So a solution could possibly be found for standard dual layer discs. i believe the beta testing with D3 ended several months ago im sure dedicated hackers have found a way already. there is a writable dual layer disc (DVD+R-DL) that can hold 8.5 gigs but im not sure if its compatible or not.

The orinigal size was no bigger then 6.5 - 7.3GB. XGD3 format added an extra GB to that, so now it will be 7.5 - 8.3GB. Dual Layer DVDs hold up to 8.5GB of data, so we have nothing to worry about.

lol, i though that dual layers say 8.5 but dont really hold that much, like 8 gig usb's only have 6.9 gigs of free storage. i had read there are larger dual layers discs than that but not sure as ive never tested

We just need to wait for C4eva to complete LT 2.0 then we will be fine.
