Gamesave question

So I have watched a few tutorials on YouTube where they use modio and a USB to transfer the gamesave . But everyone I have watched they already have the game. I was wondering if you could download the gamesave without actually hating the game then just play the rest of the game through that save. Is that possible or is there anyway to download the whole game on the USB then just transfer it over.

Games create saves and read/write data from/to them. Having a gamesave isn't the same as having the game.
